He has 10 years of global commercial vehicle technologies and markets experience, which include particular focus on areas such as global commercial vehicle industry growth opportunities, and market penetration and growth strategy development, and advanced truck technologies including powertrain, chassis, safety, telematics, and regulation compliance technologies.

Sean Kilcarr

Sean Kilcarr serves as Executive Editor of FleetOwner magazine and Editor-at-Large for American Trucker magazine, both owned by Penton Media Inc. A transportation journalist for 23 years, his ‘beat’ encompasses a wide range of industry topics – from trucking equipment, regulatory, and business issues to intermodal, logistics, supply chain operations and more. He also provides trucking coverage to several other Penton publications on an occasional basis, including Waste Age (which serves the refuse market) and American City & County (focused on municipal and state government fleet issues). Sean is a 1989 graduate of Virginia Tech, majoring in history.

Ken Langone

Ken Langone

Ken Langone is a financial backer and cofounder of Home Depot. He is also the former director of the New York Stock Exchange and an active philanthropist. In 1961, he took an interest in Wall Street and became an associate at R.W. Pressprich & Co., soon becoming Executive VP. His career in business caught the attention of the public when he joined Texas businessman Ross Perot and his start-up company, Electronic Data Systems (EDS). He took EDS public in 1968 and was promoted to President and COO of the company. In 1974, Mr. Langone founded Invemed Associates, Inc., a small Park Avenue investment bank founded to finance start-ups in the medical field. Also in 1974, he bought his first seat on the New York Stock Exchange. A year later, he made a substantial profit for a medical electronics company called Ivac, which he later took over and sold to Eli Lilly in 1977. This business deal resulted in Eli Lilly’s medical instruments division, which has grown into a multibillion dollar division. He has since become one of Eli Lilly’s largest shareholders. Mr. Langone then became interested in a home improvement business called Handy Dan. Before investing, he personally inspected every Handy Dan establishment. Through this venture, he established a business relationship and friendship with Handy Dan’s CEO, Bernard Marcus. Mr. Langone, Bernard Marcus, and Arthur Blank went on to found their own home improvement store, Home Depot. The first Home Depot opened in Atlanta in 1978.

Richard J. Leibfried, ARM

Richard Liebfried

Richard Leibfried has been an insurance professional since 1976. In his current position with RJL, Mr. Leibfried provides insurance and risk management consulting services to the middle market business community. Acting essentially as a “part-time” risk manager for his clients, Mr. Leibfried brings both traditional as well as innovative, proprietary risk management strategies to these companies.

Mr. Leibfried’s experience is extensive. As an underwriter, broker and consultant he has been involved in the design, evaluation, and ongoing management of insurance programs for a wide range of businesses. Additionally, Mr. Leibfried has been directly involved in the formation and management of nine captive insurance companies as well as a variety of other self insurance arrangements for his clients.

A graduate of Yale University, Mr. Leibfried holds the Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designation. A frequent lecturer at both insurance industry workshops and general industry seminars, Mr. Leibfried has also guested on radio and television programs to discuss client issues related to insurance.

Dale Tower is Vice President, Remarketing, with 30 years’ experience in the transportation industry. His primary focus is on the development and growth of Remarketing services, which provides AmeriQuest and NationaLease members with a value-added service that frees them of the responsibility of selling their used trucks while obtaining higher gains. Dale previously held executive roles at TEAM Vehicle Sales, NationsRent, Budget Rent-a-Car, and Ryder System, Inc. Dale attended Ricks College in Idaho.
