He halps small and medium sized businesses with outsourcing solutions to reduce the complexities and costs relation to employment and human resources. Steve has a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and Business Law from Ohio University.

Jeremy holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish from the University of Louisville and has spent the majority of his professional life working in the staffing industry. Strengths include; developing new Client relationships, building lasting partnerships, and recruiting top Finance and Accounting professionals. In addition, he has strong experience with organizing, leading and documenting post-interview debriefing / feedback with interview teams, and managing the presentation, selection, offer, negotiation, closing and administrative components involved in full life-cycle recruiting. He also has a strong background in training and developing new ideas to refine business practices.

As an attorney, he helps employers reduce risk and minimize legal costs by giving advice on personnel decisions before litigation ensues. Mr. Dishman was named to the 2013 Best Lawyers in America list, and he has been named to the annual list of “Rising Stars” by Super Lawyers magazine, a distinction accorded to no more than 2.5% of Illinois lawyers, in every year from 2009 to the present.

Mike has high-level experience in Recruiting, Sales and Marketing, and the ability to understand the needs and expectations of both candidates and clients. Mike has managed the full life cycle of the recruiting process to include sourcing, screening, interviewing, recommending hires, consulting the client and negotiating to a close. Mike excels at developing new Client relationships, building lasting partnerships, and recruiting top Finance and Accounting professionals at all levels from mid-manager to C-suite executives.

Nick specializes in fraud prevention, detection, and deterrence. Prior to joining Dean Dorton in 2014, he began his public accounting career in 2005 at a top national accounting firm in Chicago. Nick has performed a variety of forensic accounting, fraud investigation, and fraud prevention projects for both publicly-traded and privately-held clients in diverse industries including healthcare, consumer products, insurance, manufacturing, financial services, natural resources, equine, and not-for-profit entities, among others. Nick also speaks regularly on the topics of forensic accounting, investigations and fraud prevention.

Jason serves as the service group leader for Dean Dorton's Business Consulting group, which specializes in technology, healthcare consulting, litigation and forensics, business valuation, and accounting and financial outsourcing services. Jason's primary technical focus is in the area of technology consulting. He is responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and support of business networks for Dean Dorton's clients. He is also responsible for managing the evaluation, implementation, and support of accounting and business management software solutions for clients.

Jim has more than 26 years of experience in public accounting and is a director in the firm’s assurance practice. Jim’s focus is to provide assurance, audit (internal and external), accounting, and business advisory services to a variety of companies and organizations.

Prior to joining the firm, Jim had a combined 19 years of experience with global accounting firms and has extensive experience in providing business advisory and auditing services to public and large private companies. He is the leader of the firm’s internal audit services. Jim has served as the Internal Audit Director for several organizations and performed numerous consulting engagements, many of which have included the development of policies and procedures to strengthen internal controls. His experience covers a wide range of organizations including Payment Alliance International and National Processing Corporation. Industries served include healthcare, not-for-profits, governmental agencies, manufacturing, utilities, energy, employee benefit plans, and service organizations.

Ralph Ross is the SBA Kentucky District Director. He had been the Deputy District Director from 2004 – 2012 for the SBA North Florida District Office in Jacksonville before he replaced Mr. Steve Ayers, who retired in 2011. Mr. Ross has had a long and distinguished career with SBA. He has come up through the ranks and worked as an expert in both the Commercial Lending and Government Contracting sides of the Agency. In Minnesota, he was Chief of Portfolio Management and Liquidation in one of SBA’s high-volume Commercial Lending Programs. In the North Florida District Office, Ross helped manage a disadvantaged business development program that accepted over $500 million in Section 8(a) contracts for 200 active 8(a) firms.

Ralph Ross has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English from the University of Iowa and holds a Juris Doctor Degree from The William Mitchell College of Law. He is also an attorney, was licensed to practice law in Minnesota, and has been an editor for several law book publishing companies. He married a high-school sweetheart, and they recently moved to a home in the St. Matthews area of Louisville.
