What You’ll Do

ABOUT THE ROLE

Join our team and experience a rewarding and challenging work environment with skilled and supportive teammates. We are currently accepting resumes from organized and team-oriented individuals who are looking for a career as a Parts and Service Supervisor at our Red Deer facility.


The Parts and Service Supervisor will manage the day-to-day operations and staff of the Parts and Service Department. Some of the job duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide pro-active leadership and management of all staff resources within Parts and Service Department to maintain a functional department in line with overall department forecasts and company policies.
  • Understands and adheres to Company standards, policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Maintain operational requirements including marketing and profitability of the department
  • Maintains effective working relationships and communications with other company departments and personnel.
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining service levels as accustomed to
  • Accomplishing and maintaining objectives through the use of proper purchasing procedures, inventory control, and staff utilization, security, pricing, merchandising, displaying and advertising.
  • Foster and Mentor the team environment and create a “group culture".
  • Drive and maintain a high level of efficiency and productivity.
  • Actively seek and keep abreast of all relevant industry/ occupational knowledge, changes and potential opportunities thru the pursuit and participation of training, industry specific literature, industry, trade or professional specific associations and education.
  • Work with Calmont Equipment - Bobcat's Service and Sales departments to oversee all sales programs and activities to achieve the volume of sales projected in the annual forecast.

What We’re Looking For

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 5 years related experience in parts heavy equipment industry.
  • Minimum of 3 years supervisory/management experience in related industry environment.
  • Parts Journeyman Certification considered an asset
  • Valid Class 5 Drivers License.
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs. to 50 lbs.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills in order to work with wide number of people, including peers, subordinates, and other company departments and staff.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a sense of urgency to meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong customer service attitude and leadership to ensure customer expectations are exceeded.
  • Effective and pro-active management of staff resources to facilitate employee retention, productivity, and job satisfaction is key to achieving operational success.
